My first visit to Santa Fe was in 1986. I had heard about Santa Fe all my life because several relatives lived here in the 20's. The "City Different" is the most facinating place I have ever lived and believe me I've lived in a lot of places including Istanbul, Mexico City, Washington DC and Ottawa, to name just a few. Santa Fe is a melting pot of different cultures combined with artists, eccentics, spiritual gurus, scientists and intellectuals all living together in one small town.
For almost 20 years, I have lived in an historic adobe pueblo revival house located on the Eastside that does not have one single straight line in its architecture. The house was featured in "This Old House."
I have been a realtor for over 25 years. I have worked in markets as diverse as Cleveland, Boston and of course, Santa Fe. Here in New Mexico, I consider myself a specialist on Santa Fe Eastside real estate.
I am also an author. In 1999, I published a book entitled "The Best of Santa Fe and Beyond" using Bud Butler's humorous illustrations from the 1920's. The revised millennium second edition came out in 2000. The third edition is in process.
I grew up in a very athletic family which makes living in Santa Fe a dream. Everyone knows how amazing the weather is here. The climate allows me to remain active and healthy by regularly skiing and playing tennis.
