Donna Elena Saiz began her career in real estate 30 years ago, becoming the president and principal of the third largest independent real estate brokerage in Santa Fe, New Mexico from 1996 to 2004. Along the way, Donna determined that a smaller firm allows for more intimate contact with clients and associates, an essential part of her approach to the home-buying and home-selling process.
"I remember, as a little girl, visiting my father's ancestral home in Jacona. Built by Ignacio de Roybal in the 1700's, the venerable old ranch house is one of the oldest residences in the west. I learned the meaning of home from our visits to this charming adobe, which had housed the Roybal family for nearly three centuries."
Donna realized her vision of a small boutique brokerage in 1983, the Donna Elena Saiz Real Estate Group. Here, she developed her strategy for maintaining a small clientele and developing individual methodologies for finding the right home to suit her clients dreams as well as their needs. Through careful listening and open communication, along with detailed knowledge of neighborhoods and local cultures, Donna Elena engages the process of discovery with her clients.
